Job summary

Plante Moran Wealth Management is offering an internship where you will work alongside staff at all levels to gain hands-on experience in wealth management and financial planning.

You will assess client financials, evaluate plans, and support reports with charts and graphs while learning through real client interactions. The program emphasizes growth, culture, and a path toward CFP licensing.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, economics, accounting or related field.
• Strong interest in investments and economics.
• Passionate about helping individuals and families reach their financial goals.
• Detail-oriented leader with strong analytical skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively (written and verbal).
• Academic success (GPA minimum 3.0).
• On track to complete degree and CFP path options.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' assets, liabilities, cash flow, tax status, and financial objectives.
• Evaluate client financial plans using investment and tax strategies.
• Perform quality control on account activity and distributions.
