Job summary

Plante Moran Wealth Management invites a finance-oriented intern to join the investment research team in Michigan. You will work with analysts on funds, ETFs, separately managed accounts and other vehicles, gaining hands-on experience across various asset classes.

You will prepare reports, engage with top money management firms, and contribute to research materials presented to our committee. A pursuing finance/economics degree with strong GPA is preferred; CFA goals encouraged.

Qualifications

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving are essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Aspires to obtain CFA designation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investment research on funds, ETFs, SMAs, alternatives, stocks and bonds.
• Collaborate with team to research and recommend investment solutions for clients.
• Prepare reports showing characteristics of portfolios, vehicles, and strategies.
• Engage with leading money management firms as part of research activities.
• Develop research materials and present to the research committee.
