Job summary

Landmark Consultants Inc. in Sheboygan, WI seeks a trusted Family Office Controller to oversee accounting, financial reporting, cash management, and financial planning across multiple family-owned entities.

This role may be full-time or average approximately 30 hours per week with flexibility. You will work with ownership on financial performance, coordinate with external CPA, supervise accounting staff, and help manage real estate administration and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in family office, public accounting, real estate, or multi-entity environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting; proficient in QuickBooks and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships across entities.
• Process payroll and coordinate with external CPA on tax reporting.
• Partner with ownership on financial performance, investment activity, and cash flow planning.
• Support real estate administration, including lease tracking and financial oversight.
• Attend and prepare meeting agendas/minutes and assist with special projects.
• Supervise, mentor, and review the accounting staff; improve processes and controls.
