Job summary

Confidential, a Miami-based single-family office, seeks a Financial Controller to own and oversee its accounting and financial control function. You will be the senior financial authority, responsible for the integrity of numbers reaching leadership and the family principals.

The role blends strategy and craft: set policies, controls, budgeting, own the general ledger, close processes, and turn complex data into decision-grade intelligence.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of accounting leadership experience (12+ preferred).
• Experience with trust structures, tax transactions, and investments is required.
• Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire accounting and financial control function for the family office.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close, consolidation, and reporting.
• Coordinate tax across federal, state, and international jurisdictions and oversee external firms.
• Maintain books, general ledger, and data integrity for executives and family principals.
