Job summary

A prominent family office is seeking a Controller to join their team in New York. In this hands-on role, you will manage general ledger operations, oversee day-to-day bookkeeping, and lead the month-end close process. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks and financial reporting in a multi-entity setup. This position also requires strong budgeting and forecasting skills alongside effective coordination with various teams within the organization.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
• Familiarity with financial reporting in a multi-entity environment.
• Ability to manage month-end close processes effectively.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the general ledger across multiple entities.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP.
• Lead a timely month-end close process with proper documentation.
• Prepare recurring internal reporting packages for various stakeholders.
• Assist with entity-level tax reporting and related data.
