Job summary

Midwest Express Clinic is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our Western Suburbs Chicago locations. The role leads clinical care within a fast-paced urgent/primary care setting, partnering with medical staff to deliver evidence-based services and exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois and/or Indiana.
• Ability to treat patients across the lifespan.
• Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans utilizing evidence-based medicine.
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing including laboratory and radiology results.
• Perform procedures including: laceration repair; incision and drainage; foreign body removal; splinting; nail procedures; injections; DOT physicals; occupational medicine services.
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record.
