Job summary

Midwest Express Clinic is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to lead clinical care in our Northwest Suburbs Chicago clinics. You will provide evidence-based, patient-centered care, collaborating with Medical Assistants, radiologic techs, and physicians to deliver fast, high-quality services.

The role requires an NP with strong communication, teamwork, and hospitality-minded approach. Weekend/evening availability and multi-site coverage are expected to support clinic operations and patient

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois and/or Indiana.
• Ability to treat patients across the lifespan.
• Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across ages with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Develop and implement treatment plans using evidence-based medicine.
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic tests including labs and imaging.
• Perform procedures (laceration repair, incision & drainage, foreign body removal, splinting, nails, injections, DOT physicals, occupational medicine).
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
