Midwest Express Clinic is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner to lead clinical care in our Calumet Park, Evergreen Park, Mt Greenwood, and Blue Island locations in the South Suburbs of Illinois. The FNP provides evidence-based care, collaborates with medical staff, and delivers an outstanding patient experience.

Requirements include an NP degree, an active FNP license in Illinois/Indiana, lifespan care capability, strong clinical decisions, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active Illinois and/or Indiana Family Nurse Practitioner license.
• Ability to treat patients across the lifespan.
• Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic tests (labs, imaging).
• Perform procedures such as: laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, splinting, nail procedures, injections, DOT physicals, occupational medicine services.
• Prescribe medications within scope and document in the EMR.
