Job summary

Midwest Express Clinic in the Chicago area seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner to join multiple Western Suburbs clinics. You will lead clinical care, partner with Medical Assistants and physicians, and deliver evidence-based services with a focus on patient experience.

The role requires an NP with a Master’s or Doctorate, active IL/IN license, and ability to treat patients across the lifespan. The position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois and/or Indiana
• Ability to treat patients across the lifespan
• Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans utilizing evidence-based medicine
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing including laboratory and radiology results
• Perform procedures including: laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, splinting, nail procedures, injections, DOT physicals, occupational medicine services
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record
