Job summary

The Family Nurse Practitioner provides evidence-based primary and family care in a retail/clinic setting in Bloomington, Indiana. You will conduct patient assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and health counseling, manage visits and follow-ups, and support clinic operations to deliver high-quality outcomes for a patient panel.

This contract assignment may hire permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of employment.
• National Board Certification (FNP).
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
• 1+ year NP experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and family care: assessment, diagnosis, treatment, chronic condition management, and disposition planning.
• Perform routine examinations and support positive patient health outcomes.
• Order/complete diagnostic tests and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices, wellness services, screenings, and preventive care.
• Complete clinic operational/administrative duties (opening/closing, inventory, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, maintaining a clean environment).
• Work collaboratively with a clinical care team and support consistent care delivery across assigned coverage locations.

A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Family Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care / Urgent Care). This role offers career growth, a supportive work environment.

Details and Compensation

• Location: Bloomington, Indiana 47401 – 100% on-site / patient-facing
• Payrate: $74.87/hr
• Required Availability: Monday–Friday availability between 8:30 AM–7:30 PM | Saturday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM | Sunday 9:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Weekend/holiday rotation (typically 3 out of every 6 weekends, plus possible holidays)
• On-call rotation may be required
• Occasional travel/float coverage may be needed
• Weekly hours may vary between full-time/part-time

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Licensure/Certifications: Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of employment (in good standing)
• National Board Certification (FNP program)
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Experience: 1+ year of recent NP experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care (required)
• Strong communication, organization, and ability to work autonomously
• Comfortable using electronic medical systems (EMS/EMR)
