Job summary

A-Line Staffing is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care for a full-time role in Mishawaka, Indiana. The schedule is 3–4 days per week with alternating weekends, 8:30 am–7:30 pm on weekdays, plus weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include providing comprehensive primary care to patients 18 months and older, performing assessments, diagnosing conditions, prescribing medications, and ordering tests. EPIC EMR documentation and team collaboration are required.

Qualifications

• FNP license required; 1+ years in primary care, urgent care, ER, or internal/family medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients 18 months and older.
• Perform advanced assessments, diagnose acute and chronic conditions, and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and order/interpret diagnostic tests according to licensure and guidelines.
• Manage common conditions including respiratory infections, UTIs, dermatologic conditions, allergies, and minor injuries.
• Deliver preventive care services including vaccinations, health screenings, and routine physical examinations.
• Conduct women’s health evaluations including pregnancy testing and STI screening; refer to OB/GYN as needed.
• Monitor and manage chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and asthma.
• Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and preventive health strategies.
• Document all patient encounters in EPIC EMR and ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.

Hours

Family Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care Hours 3-4 days a week, includes working every other weekend Monday - Friday 8:30am-7:30pm, Saturday 9AM - 5:30PM, Sunday 9AM - 4:30PM

Compensation

The pay for this position is $75.00 an hour

• Manage common conditions including respiratory infections, UTIs, dermatologic conditions, allergies, and minor injuries
• Deliver preventive care services including vaccinations, health screenings, and routine physical examinations
• Conduct women's health evaluations including pregnancy testing and STI screening; refer to OB/GYN for specialized care as needed
• Monitor and manage chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and asthma
• Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and preventive health strategies
• Document all patient encounters in EPIC - electronic medical records ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and appropriate referrals

• FNP License 1 + years of experience of primary care, urgent care, ER, internal/family medicine experience
