Job summary

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care for a full-time position in Waxhaw, NC. The role offers 3-4 days per week, with alternating weekends and a starting pay of $75 per hour. Benefits are available to full-time employees.

The FNP will provide comprehensive primary care to patients 18 months and older, perform assessments, prescribe medications, manage chronic diseases, and document in EPIC EMR while coordinating care with the medical team.

Qualifications

• FNP license required with at least 1 year experience in primary care, urgent care, ER or family/internal medicine.
• Experience providing primary care to adults and adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based primary care to patients 18 months and older in a primary care setting.
• Perform advanced patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and order/interpret tests in accordance with state licensure and clinical guidelines.
• Manage common conditions including respiratory infections, UTIs, dermatologic conditions, allergies, and minor injuries.
• Deliver preventive care services including vaccinations, health screenings, and routine physical examinations.
• Conduct women’s health evaluations including pregnancy testing and STI screening; refer to OB/GYN for specialized care as needed.
• Monitor and manage chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and asthma.
• Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and preventive health strategies.
• Document all patient encounters in EPIC - electronic medical records ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and appropriate referrals.

Compensation

The pay for this position is $75.00 an hour
