Job summary

A-Line Staffing is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care for a full-time position on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Hours are 3–4 days a week with alternating weekends: Mon–Fri 8:30am–7:30pm, Sat 9:00am–5:30pm, Sun 9:00am–4:30pm.

Compensation is $75.00 per hour; benefits include a 401(k) match for full-time staff. Role focuses on comprehensive primary care, preventive services, and care coordination with a team using EPIC EMR.

Qualifications

• FNP license and 1+ year of primary/urgent care, ER, or internal medicine experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients 18 months and older.
• Perform advanced assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and order/interpret diagnostic tests per licensure.
• Manage common conditions including respiratory infections, UTIs, derm conditions, allergies, and minor injuries.
• Deliver preventive care services including vaccinations and health screenings.
• Conduct women's health evaluations and refer to OB/GYN as needed.
• Monitor chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and asthma.
• Educate patients on disease management and preventive health strategies.
• Document all encounters in EPIC EMR and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for continuity of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based primary care to patients 18 months of age and older in a primary care setting
• Perform advanced patient assessments, diagnose acute and chronic conditions, and develop treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and order/interpreting diagnostic tests in accordance with state licensure and clinical guidelines
• Manage common conditions including respiratory infections, UTIs, dermatologic conditions, allergies, and minor injuries
• Deliver preventive care services including vaccinations, health screenings, and routine physical examinations
• Conduct women's health evaluations including pregnancy testing and STI screening; refer to OB/GYN for specialized care as needed
• Monitor and manage chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and asthma
• Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and preventive health strategies
• Document all patient encounters in EPIC - electronic medical records ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and appropriate referrals
