Job summary

Roseman University of Health Sciences is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care at our Henderson clinic, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care across the lifespan.

You will educate patients, mentor learners, and contribute to population health and community initiatives. Our program supports clinical teaching, research activity, and a compassionate care approach within an innovative setting.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
• Current Nevada APRN license or eligibility for licensure, with prescribing privileges.
• Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification through AANPCB or ANCC.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Whole-Person Primary Care – Provide preventive, acute, and chronic disease management, health screenings, patient education, and care coordination across the lifespan.
• Build Meaningful Patient Relationships – Serve as a primary provider and help patients navigate their healthcare needs while considering social determinants.
• Practice as Part of a Team – Collaborate with physicians, nurses, behavioral health providers, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Help Shape Future Healthcare Professionals – Participate in teaching, mentoring, and clinical learning experiences with medical students and other healthcare learners.
• Improve Health Beyond the Exam Room – Contribute to population health, quality improvement, and community-based initiatives.
• Make an Impact – Combine independent clinical practice with interdisciplinary collaboration in an environment focused on innovation, education, and compassionate care.
