Pyramid Healthcare, Inc. in Asheville, NC is seeking a compassionate Certified Peer Support Specialist with lived child welfare experience to mentor families navigating the DSS system.

You will build trust, advocate for families, and connect them with recovery resources while working closely with DSS, treatment providers, and our team. This full-time, on-site role offers a comprehensive benefits package and requires a high school diploma or GED, plus valid NC driver’s license.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Lived experience navigating the DSS or child welfare system required.
• Experience supporting families in recovery or reunification preferred.
• Valid North Carolina driver's license with reliable transportation required.

Responsabilidades

• Build trusting relationships with families involved with DSS.
• Provide encouragement and advocacy to support recovery and reunification.
• Connect families with community resources and treatment services.
• Collaborate with DSS, treatment providers, and the treatment team.
• Document progress accurately in the electronic health record.
• Transport clients to appointments and community resources as needed.
• Participate in peer reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
