Job summary

Thundermist Health Center is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified Family Medicine Core Faculty Physician to join a teaching health center residency program focused on health equity and underserved communities in Rhode Island.

The role includes inpatient and outpatient care, resident education, and mentorship, with a 50/50 split and a 2–3 half-days per week continuity clinic. Tufts University School of Medicine affiliation strengthens the program.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with completed residency in family medicine.
• Ability to obtain full, unrestricted RI license.
• Inpatient adult medicine teaching service experience.

Responsibilities

• Split 50/50 between faculty duties and clinical care.
• Inpatient adult medicine services for the teaching service.
• Precept in Family Medicine Residency Clinic; maintain continuity clinic 2–3 half-days weekly.
