Job summary

Lowell Community Health Center is seeking a Core Faculty member for the Family Medicine Residency Program. You will join Tufts University School of Medicine with a focus on teaching, mentorship, curriculum development, and scholarly activity within the residency framework.

You will be responsible for didactics, bedside teaching, resident evaluations, and support for research and quality improvement. Direct patient care and supervision of residents are key components of the role.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified in Family Medicine.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in MA.
• 2+ years post-residency clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in medical education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor residents through didactics, workshops, and rounds.
• Collaborate to design and implement an evidence-based curriculum.
• Participate in regular resident evaluations and provide feedback.
• Engage in scholarly activities and quality improvement projects.
• Attend faculty and interdisciplinary meetings and complete administrative duties.
• Collaborate with local healthcare facilities and community organizations.
• Direct patient care at Lowell CHC; supervise residents and provide precepting.
