Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Texarkana, TX is seeking a compassionate Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our primary care team. The role provides comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and families across the lifespan in a well‑established practice.

This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, competitive compensation based on experience, and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA in Texas.
• National board certification (AANP, ANCC, NCCPA).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in family medicine or primary care.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope primary care including preventive, chronic, and acute care.
• Perform exams, order tests, and prescribe treatment plans.
• Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems.
