Job summary

Progressive Health in La Grange, TX is seeking a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide comprehensive primary care in a rural health clinic.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients across all ages, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications per state regulations, and emphasize preventive care. Two openings: full-time clinic days; PRN coverage available, with ECW EHR experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Texas APRN license (Texas Board of Nursing) or Texas PA license.
• National FNP certification (ANCC or AANP).
• DEA registration eligibility.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Eligibility for malpractice coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary/family care to patients across all ages in a rural health clinic.

• Perform physical examinations, order/interpret diagnostic tests, educate patients on health management, and maintain medical records.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services. The ideal candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat patients across all age groups, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications as permitted by state regulations, and provide preventive and wellness care. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, educating patients on health management, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Schedule

Two positions available: Full-time clinic days/ Coverage basis, as-needed (PRN)

Position Summary

Provide primary/family care to an established rural patient panel at a rural health clinic, under physician delegation per standard Texas APRN/PA practice requirements. Experience with ECW (eClinicalWorks) EHR system preferred.
