CHRISTUS Health in Texarkana, TX seeks a compassionate Family Medicine Physician Assistant to join our primary care team. You will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across the lifespan and collaborate with a supportive medical staff.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, competitive compensation, and bonus opportunities. We provide CME allowances, PTO, and a 403b retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PA license.
• National board certification (NCCPA).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in family medicine or primary care.

Responsabilités

• Provide full-scope primary care services including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care.
• Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostics, and prescribe appropriate treatment plans.
• Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to care standards.

Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Family Medicine Physician Assistant (PA)to join our growing primary care team in Texarkana, TX. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and families across the lifespan. Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope primary care services including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care
• Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate treatment plans
• Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using EMR systems
• Ensure patient satisfaction, safety, and adherence to care standards

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Texas
• National board certification (NCCPA)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in family medicine or primary care preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule & Compensation
