Job summary

Advocate Health in Illinois is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Westmont clinic. The position involves rooming patients, taking vital signs, collecting medical history, and performing screenings under provider supervision. The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with a pay range of $21.85–$32.80 per hour. Current BLS is required; full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent military training per DD214.
• 2 years of verifiable full-time MA experience within last 5 years (IL/WI divisions).

Responsibilities

• Room patients and take vitals, review medical history and screenings.
• Assist providers with procedures and medication administration.
• Perform venipuncture, specimen handling, and CLIA‑waived lab tests.
• Administer medications and vaccines.
• Schedule appointments and referrals; coordinate patient communications.
