Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid Family Law Attorney position based in our Phoenix or Gilbert office location. The attorney will manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, legal separation, child custody, parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, and related issues. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients, assessing legal needs, providing clear guidance, and developing customized case strategies. The role involves drafting pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements; handling discovery; conducting depositions where appropriate; and representing clients at hearings, mediations, and trials. The attorney will collaborate with colleagues and support staff, maintain accurate case files, stay current on Arizona family law and procedural rules, and contribute to a positive, high-performance team environment.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to analyze complex Legal Issues and apply Arizona statutes and case law effectively.
• Substantive experience in Family Law, including divorce, custody, support, and related domestic relations matters a plus.
• Proficiency in drafting and arguing Motions, including temporary orders, enforcement actions, and post-decree modifications.
• Experience conducting Depositions and managing discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and disclosures.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active, good-standing membership with the Arizona State Bar.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a client-centered communication style.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
• High ethical standards, professionalism, and sensitivity to clients experiencing emotionally difficult family transitions.
• Prior family law litigation experience in Arizona preferred but we do train; bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
