Small/Solo Family Law and Divorce Law Practice with clients in both New York and New Jersey.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Family Law Attorney at HD Family Law, Law Office of Helen M. Dukhan, Esq., LL.M. LLC located in Hackensack, NJ. The Family Law Attorney will be responsible for handling family and divorce matters from inception to finalization, preparing motions, handling discovery, appearing on behalf of clients before the Court, possibly conducting depositions, drafting agreements, and any administrative tasks that may come up while representing our clients in Family and Divorce Law matters.

You will be required to be in office at least two days a week and work independently from home three days a week. If from time to time there is a project, deadline or if you are simply requested to be in the office additional days during the week you are expected to accommodate the request/need.

Qualifications

• Experience in Family Law
• Excellent legal writing skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to stay organized and be proactive
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Bar in New Jersey and preferably New York
