Job description

A well-established Texas-based law firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Associate Attorney to join its Granbury office. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in Texas family law and be confident managing their own docket, including courtroom representation and client consultations. This position offers the opportunity to work with a respected legal team in a client-centered and collaborative environment, along with access to formal mentorship and professional development resources.

Location:

Granbury, TX

Duties:

Manage a full docket of family law cases independently

Represent clients in court hearings, trials, negotiations, and mediations

Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery

Provide strategic legal counsel and develop case strategies

Conduct client consultations and maintain regular client communication

Collaborate with other attorneys and staff in a team-focused environment

Stay current with changes in family law and procedural rules in Texas

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years of Texas family law experience

Ability to manage cases independently from intake through resolution

Strong negotiation and mediation skills

Working knowledge of the Texas Family Code and Texas Rules of Civil Procedure

Commitment to client service and ethical legal practice

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
