Qualifications

• Experience working with families experiencing homelessness or shelter services.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to advocate for families.
• Ability to learn standardized triage, intake, and safety procedures.
• Ability to manage priorities, maintain confidentiality, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Engage families referred for housing navigation and establish a compassionate working relationship.
• Explain rapid rehousing services, eligibility, and next actions.
• Manage a small caseload and coordinate housing-search activities with CRM teams.
• Engage landlords and property managers to identify available units.
• Assist with housing applications, subsidies, inspections, and move-in steps.
• Document enrollment, services, outcomes, and next actions in HMIS.
