Job summary

Easterseals Vermont is seeking a Family Engagement Assistant to support families by transporting children and parents to services and facilitating safe, productive visits in office and community settings. The role involves building a support network for families and coordinating with DCF Family Services while maintaining professional communication.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to document work, and be a solid team player.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (phone and in-person).
• Ability to document work completed.
• Strong team player with willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and parents to needed services and provide supported contact in office and community settings.
• Call family members when youth come into DCF custody to help develop a support network.
• Collaborate with the team; training and supervision are provided.
