Easterseals Vermont is hiring a Family Engagement Assistant to transport families to services, provide supervised contact, and support youth in DCF custody when needed. The role emphasizes strong communication and teamwork in a family-friendly office and community setting.

Ideal candidates will have a HS diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and reliable vehicle; an Associate’s degree or human services experience is preferred. Training and supervision are provided.

Qualificações

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent (18+). An Associate’s Degree and Human Services experience preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting are required.
• Your own reliable vehicle with insurance that meets our coverage limits is required.

Responsabilidades

• Transport children and parents to needed services and provide supported contact within office and community settings.
• Call family members when youth come into DCF custody to aid in developing a support network.
• Document work completed and work effectively as part of a team; training and supervision are provided.
