Easterseals Vermont is hiring a Family Engagement Assistant in Middlebury, VT to support families involved with DCF. You will transport children and parents to needed services, provide supervised contact in office and community settings, and help build safe, supportive networks for youth and families.

The role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and teamwork. Training and supervision are provided, with a full-time schedule (30 hours/week) and a benefits package including

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s Degree and experience in Human Services preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, background check and fingerprinting required.
• Own reliable vehicle with insurance that meets coverage limits.
• Hours: Full time, 30 hours/week, Monday-Friday; schedule may flex to client needs.

Responsabilités

• Transport children and parents to needed services.
• Provide supported contact for children and parents within office and community settings.
• Call family members when youth come into DCF custody to help develop a support network.
• Collaborate with teams to support families and maintain accurate documentation.
