Job summary

Holyoke Public Schools is seeking a Family Access & Engagement Coordinator to expand and deepen relationships with families across multiple sites. You will support parent involvement, leadership development, and school-family communications, with priority on early literacy and family partnerships.

The role reports to the Director of the Family, Student and Community Engagement Department and requires collaboration with principals, teachers, and other FSCE team members across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in school/education/community setting.
• Strong communication skills and comfort engaging families and partners.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement capacity-building strategies to support teachers and staff.
• Design, lead, or coordinate family activities and events.
• Manage communications with families, including translations where needed.
• Conduct home visits and coordinate community outreach.
• Build and manage partnerships to support family engagement in early literacy.
