Easterseals Vermont is seeking a Family Engagement Specialist to support families in their homes, facilitate meetings, and coach parents to provide safe, nurturing care for children in DCF custody. The role involves outreach to extended family, building support networks, and creating genograms as part of a holistic family service plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor0s Degree in Human Services or related field preferred
• Two years of human services experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
• Valid driver7s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check are required,
• Your own reliable vehicle with insurance that meets our coverage limits is required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate family meetings and provide in-home support to strengthen families in their homes.
• Coach parents to have safe and nurturing time with their children who are placed in DCF custody.
• Call extended family members to explore familial support and create genograms.
