Job summary

Casey Family Programs' Seattle Field Office is seeking a Family Developer to recruit, support, and retain a culturally diverse team of caregivers. The role emphasizes trauma-informed practice, family assessments, and licensing processes to achieve permanency and well-being for children and families.

In collaboration with Social Workers, you will lead training, manage licensing documents, and engage with community partners to strengthen resource families and kin networks, while adhering to state

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Minimum five years of clinical experience in child welfare or related practice.
  • Expertise in permanency, well-being outcomes for youth, and family engagement.
  • Knowledge of local, state laws governing reunification, licensure, and adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, maintain, support, coach, educate, and retain diverse caregivers.
  • Complete family assessments and home studies in compliance with standards.
  • Develop and manage licensing, training, and provider education.
  • Engage with community resources and kin caregivers to strengthen placements.
  • Collaborate with field office staff on permanency planning and placement processes.
