Job summary

Casey Family Programs in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Social Worker to coordinate and deliver services to children, youth, young adults and families in or at risk of involvement with the child welfare system. You will work with public agencies and multidisciplinary teams to improve safety, permanency and well-being, aiming to reduce foster care entries and exits.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field with clinical internship/practicum and a minimum of five years clinical experience in child welfare or related practice.
• Broad knowledge of social work practice and clinical theory, including assessment and intervention skills in family systems.
• Expertise in permanency, improved well-being outcomes for youth in care, and family engagement with trauma-informed approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management for children, youth, young adults and families in line with practice standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate services with vendors and public child welfare staff and multidisciplinary teams to achieve permanency and well-being goals.
• Engage birth parents, families and stakeholders to develop assessment and implementation plans for permanency.
• Participate in staff meetings, clinical staffing, and use Zoom/Teams to support remote collaboration.
