Job summary

Wayfinder Family Services is seeking a Resource Family Recruiter to build a pipeline of prospective foster and adoptive families. The role focuses on recruiting families for children and youth with diverse needs, including disabilities, by engaging communities, schools, and faith-based groups.

You will lead recruitment events, conduct orientations, and provide ongoing support while ensuring compliance and accurate documentation in Famcare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field preferred, or 2 years’ experience in child welfare in lieu of degree.
• 2+ years in recruitment, outreach, sales, marketing, community engagement, or human services.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, promote, and lead recruitment events to develop interest among prospective resource families.
• Speak to community groups, organizations, and churches to promote foster care, ISFC, and adoption.
• Explain program requirements and answer questions from prospective resource families.
• Invite families to agency orientations and facilitate sessions virtually or in person.
• Document information in the agency database (Famcare) and maintain compliance.
