Job summary

Clarvida is seeking a Family Connections Consultant to support vulnerable families referred by the Department of Child Safety. You will perform up to 5 months of in-home and community-based work, conducting assessments, creating service plans, and linking families to resources.

You will conduct progress evaluations and provide parent training and education. Daily duties include 1-2 weekly meetings with parents and caregivers and weekly observation of children.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counseling) required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a human services setting.
• Active and valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (DCS/Arizona) required.
• Current Arizona driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and service plans addressing child safety needs.
• Provide intervention and connect families to community resources.
• Evaluate progress and deliver parent training and education.
• Meet with parents/caregivers 1-2 times per week and observe children weekly.

• Competitive pay rate of $20-23/hour dependent on experience and bilingual abilities
• $0.50 pay increase after 90-days

Does the following apply to you?

• 18 years of age or older
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service field i.e. Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling etc.; AND
• One (1) year or more experience working in a human service focused field
• Active and valid unrestricted Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card, DCS Clearance with no substantiated reports as well satisfactory results of background checks as required
• Current Arizona State Driver’s License in good standing with a good driving record for the past three (3) years; along with active personal vehicle registration and liability insurance
