Job summary

Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County, Inc. seeks a Family Child Care Coordinator to connect families with licensed providers, conduct site visits, and foster partnerships with local agencies.

You will coordinate trainings, workshops, and parent engagement for children ages 0-5. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in ECE/CD or related field with teaching experience, plus required ECE/CD core units and infant/toddler units, and a Site Supervisor Permit within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in ECE/CD or related field with two years of teaching experience with children ages 0-5.
• Minimum of twelve ECE/CD core units and three infant/toddler development units (or completion within one year).
• Must hold or qualify for a Site Supervisor Permit within 30 days of employment.
• Experience in a licensed day care center or comparable home day care for children ages 0-5.
• Fluency in two or more languages to support program and community needs.

Responsibilities

• Family Support: Recruit, enroll, and re-certify children in the Family Child Care Program; promote parent involvement and set goals.
• Provider Coordination: Conduct site visits, monitor providers, provide training and develop educational materials.
• Program Management: Perform administrative tasks, maintain records, update policies, and lead monthly meetings.
