Job summary

Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County, Inc. in Gonzales, CA is seeking a Family Child Care Coordinator to run the Family Child Care Option program under the Area Manager, connecting families to licensed providers and visiting sites for children ages 0-5.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s in ECE/CD, core units, infant/toddler units, two years of teaching, and permit eligibility within 30 days; bilingual skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ECE/CD or related field with two years of teaching children ages 0-5.
• Minimum of twelve ECE/CD core units and three infant/toddler development units (or completion within one year).
• Experience in public relations, presentations, training, and workshops is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Family Support: Recruit, enroll, and recertify children; promote parent involvement and assist families in resources and goal setting.
• Provider Coordination: Conduct site visits, provide training and on-site support to providers, ensure standards and state requirements.
• Program Management: Maintain records, update policies, and organize monthly parent/provider meetings.
