Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Education and active status as an SCS Assistant Principal, with experience in teaching or training. You will coordinate with host schools and the Fall School Coordinator on space, resources, and procedures, and manage attendance, grades, and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education required with a minimum of four years teaching or training experience, or equivalent combination totaling eight years.
• Active SCS Assistant Principal in good standing required.
• Position is for Fall Break Learning Academy only; availability for planning and prep sessions is expected.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the fall school site.
• Ensure compliance with all state and district policies and procedures.
• Communicate expectations and consequences to staff, students, and parents.
• Oversee opening and closing of fall school sites and secure facilities.
• Coordinate with host school and Fall School Coordinator on facilities use and resources.
• Monitor attendance, rosters, grades submission, and school safety procedures.
• Lead staff orientation and ensure contracts and access to designated areas.
• Ensure security, inventory control, and discipline actions are properly documented.
