Job summary

Georgia-Pacific's Big Island mill in Virginia is seeking a Project Engineering Co-Op for Fall 2027. You will assist with planning, coordination, and execution of technical projects, gaining exposure to design reviews, scheduling, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Enrolled engineering or construction management students will contribute to data collection, documentation, and process improvements while exploring PBM values and real-world project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree or alternative program (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.)
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
• This role is not eligible for VISA Sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of technical projects
• Gather and organize project data, help prepare engineering documentation, participate in design reviews
• Support project managers with scheduling, tracking progress, and communicating updates, collaborate with cross functional teams such as operations or maintenance
