Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Fall 2027 Process Control Engineer Coop/Intern to join our team at the Big Island, Virginia Mill. The position offers a hands-on experience with mentor support, focusing on control design and improvements across the mill.

As a coop/intern you will gain real-world experience while tackling significant projects, problem-solving, and taking ownership of your work within Koch’s intern program.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a college degree program in electrical or chemical engineering.
• Eligible for full-time employment in or before 2029.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without visa transfer or sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Support process control operations and troubleshoot installed systems.
• Collaborate with operations to implement new technologies for advanced manufacturing.
• Work with mill personnel to identify opportunities and solve problems.
• Involved in controls and automation design, implementation, and support of hardware and software systems.
