Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking Engineering Co-Ops to join our team for Fall 2027 at the Naheola mill in Pennington, Alabama. We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented engineers to contribute to our manufacturing operations.

Co-Ops will gain real-world, hands-on experience in a dynamic setting, with exposure to compliance, safety, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration across chemical, mechanical, electrical, and related disciplines.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree or alternative program (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling).
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical or electrical equipment.
• Eligible for full-time employment on or before Summer 2029.

Responsibilities

• Support innovation and process efficiency in a manufacturing setting.
• Assist with equipment reliability and quality assurance.
• Collaborate across disciplines to drive safety and compliance.
