Job summary

The Blessed-Sacrament Catholic School is seeking an Instructional Assistant to support the classroom teacher in planning, guiding, and educating students in a Christ-centered environment. The role focuses on assisting with instructional materials, supervising students, and facilitating learning activities under the teacher's direction.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, coordinating spaces, maintaining confidentiality, and upholding the Archdiocese policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of study at a higher education institution or an associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with day camps, youth groups, private schools, or licensed day-care centers.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver license, valid vehicle insurance, background screening.
• Must pass archdiocesan Safe Environment requirements and Texas DPS fingerprint screening.
• Ability to lift students if required; detail oriented; good written and verbal skills.
