Job summary

Our Lady of Perpetual Help School is seeking a Part-Time Instructional Assistant to support the classroom teacher in planning, guiding, and educating students in a faith-based setting.

The role assists with instructional materials, student supervision, and safety, reporting to the Principal. Emphasis on confidentiality and alignment with Archdiocese policies and Gospel values is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of school procedures and policies.
• Ability to relate and communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate classroom technology and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school.
• Assists teacher in planning, guiding, and educating students in a Christ-centered environment.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding school matters and handles records securely.
• Provides supervisory support before, during, and after school as needed.
• Leads or assists in instructional activities and small group work under teacher direction.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
