Job summary

Anchor House Ministries seeks dedicated staff to provide direct care and supervision for youth in crisis in a faith-based residential setting. The role involves documenting safety and wellbeing tasks for residents and working under supervision to implement treatment and life-skill programs.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Florida driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year direct care experience.
• Valid Florida driver’s license.
• Maintain a clear motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Able to pass county/state background checks.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet functions; mail and attachments handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision within the mission of the organization.
• Document tasks related to residents’ safety and wellbeing.
• Work with neglected, abandoned, and abused youth in need of support.
• Maintain an encouraging environment for residents’ development.
• Implement treatment programs for residents.
• Perform under supervision of the Program Director or assigned supervisor.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work at multiple Anchor House Ministries locations as needed.
