Job summary

Global Disciples seeks an Events Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of US-based events that communicate our mission creatively. You will coordinate with leadership, partners, and volunteers to deliver engaging dinners, meetings, and advocacy events.

The role requires strong public speaking, impeccable organization, and the ability to work independently with a friendly, collaborative spirit. Occasional travel is expected to support events nationwide.

Qualifications

• Must be a committed follower of Jesus Christ and an active member of a Christian church.
• Passion for Global Disciples' mission and alignment with its statement of faith, goals, purposes and objectives.
• Ability to take initiative in decision-making.
• Well-organized and able to keep a variety of projects moving forward.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute all US-based events, including signature dinners, meetings, and other partner relations events.
• Coordinate with US Leadership Team to develop event schedule, speakers, themes.
• Research and reserve venues, catering, and other event details.
• Oversee registration process and onsite event setup.
• Manage event follow-up, including evaluations and financial reports.
• Provide event support for advocate led events.
