Job summary

East-West Ministries in Plano, TX is seeking an Events Director to lead development and field-related events, guiding the vision, vendor partnerships, and donor cultivation efforts. You will supervise the Events Team and ensure all activities align with East-West’s faith-based mission.

The role emphasizes logistics, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration with the EVP of Development and volunteers to execute high-impact events and timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Event coordination and logistics management.
• Research future events highlighting faith, scripture, and evangelism.
• Prepare agendas and materials for event related meetings.
• Manage venues, vendors, catering, insurance, travel arrangements, booking guest speakers.
• Manage RSVP and check-in process.
• Track event financials to ensure standards of good stewardship.
• Collaborate with the EVP of Development.
• Handle expense reports for gift officers, donor correspondence, and other support.
• Manage Event Applications (Blackthorn & SendGrid).
• Special Projects Management – miscellaneous project management as directly assigned.
• Organize volunteers to assist with Development/Marketing projects.
• Assist with field-related events as requested.
• Maintain communication with volunteers to make aware of existing needs.
