Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise Teacher to share the gospel and teach in public school classrooms. The ideal candidate will be an active church participant with strong communication skills and a caring, perceptive approach to teaching children.

Responsibilities include completing training and certification, delivering LifeWise lessons, building relationships with students, maintaining records, and communicating with school staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience with students
• Active Christian faith consistent with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and tailor lessons
• Take attendance and maintain class rosters and health notes
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage materials
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and program director, and share updates and photos
