Job summary

Grand Rapids For Christ is seeking an Early Childhood Float to support Lead Teachers at the Olivia Haverkamp Christian Early Learning Center. You will help provide a safe, nurturing environment for children aged 18 months to three years, aligning with Christian education principles.

You will collaborate with staff, engage families, and participate in faith-based learning activities, while meeting licensing and development goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred with relevant child-care experience.
• Background check completion in accordance with state requirements.
• MiRegistry Health & Safety 1 & 2 training or willingness to complete.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, welcoming, enriching Christian environment.
• Treat all children with care and compassion.
• Promote a sense of belonging for all children in a safe, joyful community.
• Support faith-based, developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
• Cultivate relationships with families and collaborate with staff.
• Assist with developmentally appropriate activities for 18-month to 3-year-olds.
• Complete at least 16 hours of professional development annually.
• Uphold safety standards per licensing manuals.
• Promote GRCS' Early Childhood programs and services.
