Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineer (Flight Reliability) to own and develop mission-critical software used across SpaceX, accelerating launch vehicle production and Starlink growth. You will prototype, design, and refine systems, with a focus on performance and reliability, while collaborating across architecture and code reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline; OR 2+ years of professional software experience in lieu of a degree.
1+ years of experience in full stack development and building SPAs.

Responsibilities

Develop highly reliable software used across SpaceX.
Create new applications to improve SpaceX operations.
Build prototypes to validate design concepts and constraints.
Own all aspects of software engineering and product development.
Deep dive into users’ problems to design efficient solutions.
Contribute to architecture, design, and code reviews as part of a team.
