Kimball,-Tirey- is seeking a Fair Housing Attorney to join our California real estate practice. You will work with property owners and managers to analyze fair housing issues and help avoid liability.

The ideal candidate has a J.D. and an active California Bar license, 1–2 years of landlord-tenant and/or fair housing experience, strong legal writing and negotiation skills, and the ability to work under deadlines.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and active California Bar license are required.
• 1–2 years of landlord-tenant and/or fair housing experience preferred.
• Excellent legal writing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze facts, provide analysis, and draft responses under deadlines.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with analysis of fair housing issues.
• Draft letters to residents, fair housing advocacy groups, and opposing counsel.
• Draft agreements for reasonable accommodations and modifications.
• Review lease documents for fair housing compliance.

We are an established real estate law firm with offices across California. We are looking for a Fair Housing Attorney to join our team. Our business hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm Friday.This position can be fully remote in California or be hybrid/in-office at any of our California offices.
