Qualifications

• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 5–10 years of experience in failure analysis or connectors.
• Experience with SEM, mechanical and electrical testing.
• Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab).
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis of failed connectors.
• Create a failure analysis process and database.
• Interface with customers to explain issues, status, and solutions.
• Confirm diagnoses through testing and inspection.
• Prepare test samples and work with lab technicians.
• Suggest corrective actions to design or process.
